Sort of a town hall

So big!

The Maplewood Municipal Building was dedicated in 1931. (Below is a photo of its dedication.)

It used to be part of the Henry S. Smith estate.

Before then, the town hall existed in the 1869 building shown below from 1904 ’til 1932 (which was also the school and library at various points in its life. It was razed sometime in the 1950s, I think).

A multipurpose building!
