E is for Episcopals (or Episcopal churches, anyway)

St. Paul's

This is the Episcopal Church of St. Paul in Chatham.

They actually have a pretty neat history on their website. I’m not sure when the original structure (consecrated in 1909) was upgraded to its current modern brick. There is a mention of a $300,000 repair/upgrade in 1996, but this seems like more than a $300,000 bit of construction, so I dunno.

The church is almost touching the library. If you park in the back lot (which is unified — one lot for the two buildings), you very may well start walking towards the wrong door.

  1. Looks like some churches around here. There must be a universal pattern somewhere.
