Faith Lutheran Church [website] in New Providence is currently undergoing some sort of excavation/ renovations/ construction, so photos aren’t exactly easy at the moment.
Although my Images of America book says it was built in 1957, the cornerstone of the main sanctuary says 1961.
Faith’s own website says the congregation (which began in Summit in 1897) relocated to New Providence in 1957, but didn’t erect its sanctuary until 1962. So there you go.
An additional portion in the back, which they call their “educational unit,” dates to 1967.
Yep.
